ROW Manager Job Description:
Review preliminary HFC design plan to identify aerial, new buried, existing conduit and cabinet placement locations. Work with local municipalities, DOT, and JPAs to determine permit requirements for the design, including encroachment permits, trenching permits, joint pole attachment application requirements, traffic control plans. Complete ROW research including the collection of plat maps, PUE, and ROW information. Create application package request identifying required drawings and other attachments that will be needed. Manage team of back-office resources to complete applications. Ensure that all required easements are properly attained for access and utilities. Identify out of scope items and submit change order requests, as needed. Provide guidance to third party vendors for land survey and environmental services, as needed. All documents generated from these activities shall be loaded in the appropriate project document repository. Provide project deliverables to ensure that project and program status is maintained with accuracy.
Keep Director informed regarding the progress of all project coordination activities. Alert Director of problems/conflicts relating to the execution of assigned projects. Follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner. A willingness to travel when required. Reports to Director of Fixed Network Services
